Privacy Policy for Objection Proof Click-to-Dial
Effective Date: February 3, 2026
Objection Proof Click-to-Dial ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Chrome Extension collects, uses, and discloses information, and what rights you have with respect to that information.
1. Introduction
Objection Proof Click-to-Dial ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Chrome Extension collects, uses, and discloses information, and what rights you have with respect to that information.
2. Information We Collect
A. User-Provided Information
We collect information that you explicitly provide to us via the extension's interface:
- API Keys: To authenticate with the Objection Proof platform.
- Prospect Data: Names and notes you manually enter into the confirmation popup before initiating a call.
B. Automatically Collected Information
When you activate the extension on a specific web page (via the "activeTab" permission), the extension scans the page's text to identify:
- Phone Numbers: We detect patterns matching phone numbers to display a "click-to-dial" icon next to them.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect strictly for the extension's core functionality:
- To Facilitate Calls: When you click the call icon and confirm the action, we transmit the detected phone number, your provided API key, and your notes to our designated endpoint (https://app.objectionproof.ai/api/queue-call) to initiate the AI call.
- To Verify Access: Your API key is used solely to authenticate your request with our system.
4. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to users or advertisers.
Service Providers
We transmit data to the following third-party service to perform the calling function:
- n8n (Automation Platform): When you initiate a call, the request details (Phone Number, Name, Notes, API Key) are sent to our webhook hosted on n8n.cloud. Please refer to n8n's Privacy Policy for details on their data handling.
5. Data Storage and Security
- Local Storage: Your API key is stored locally on your device using Chrome's secure storage.sync or storage.local API. We do not store your API key on our own servers; it is passed through only when you make a call.
- Transmission: All data transmitted between the extension and our webhook is sent via secure HTTPS encryption.
6. Permissions
The extension requests the following permissions for operation:
- activeTab: Used to scan the current web page for phone numbers only when you explicitly interact with the extension.
- storage: Used to save your API key and preferences locally.
- scripting: Used to inject the visual icons and popup interface into the page you are viewing.
7. Your Rights
You may delete the extension and all locally stored data (including your API key) at any time by removing the extension from your Chrome browser.
